We then translated this into a strong value proposition and messaging system that highlights customer outcomes and the real impact of their technology. This work was carried through into strategic pillars, key messaging and a funnel matrix mapping the customer journey and decision points.

Refine the SaskFSA messaging to reflect the complex nature of drainage management for a variety of audiences.
By engaging with industry, their team and other stakeholders, we developed a cohesive messaging framework that defined the challenges and environmental, economic and production opportunities of drainage
management in Saskatchewan. It also included persuasive copy explaining why SaskFSA membership is critical to the agricultural sector's viability.

Conducted comprehensive interviews with management, their agronomists, sales team and others, along with a review of the business’s formal research publications to develop compelling brand messaging that could be used throughout their communications activities.

Collaborate with lead researchers and industry stakeholders to create research articles for the Diverse Field Crop Cluster (DFCC).
Through background research, interviews and a thorough writing, review and editing process, Magpie produced 17 “Research Snapshot” articles on DFCC research related to camelina, flax, carinata, mustard, and sunflower adapted to a grower audience. The information included an overview of DFCC research, along with the value of the crop to growers.

CFF is the most successful consumer engagement engine in Canada, representing the entire industry. To support their objectives, they required extensive science-based information developed for a non-farming and non-technical audience.
We developed 80 consumer-centric articles that focused on seasonal local fruits and vegetables, information about farm management strategies and content that answered consumers’ biggest concerns about how their food is produced.

Magpie created messaging that explained the complexities of their proprietary livestock data-sharing system, which blends private blockchain networks with AI, biometrics and deep machine learning, and its potential impact on livestock producers’ profitability. Then we created a visually appealing design aesthetic that the brand could build around as the company grew.
